Meet Brian, Business Development Manager with Elite Roofing & Solar
The work0 we do at Elite Roofing & Solar wouldn’t be possible without our incredible team—and today, we’re sharing more about Business Development Manager Brian Mielcarek, one of the key individuals tasked with growing and building our business.
From developing relationships throughout the roofing industry to furthering our impact as trusted Denver roofers, Brian has a lot on his plate. Since joining our team in March 2025, he’s gotten a lot done—and has big plans for the future!

Making Connections and Driving Business Growth
Being able to grow any business requires making valuable connections to better communicate the unique offerings you provide to customers. That means having the right advocate in your corner is essential—and Brian has been just that.
“As Business Development Manager I focus on driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, developing relationships with clients, and creating strategic plans for expansion.”
Such a relationship-focused position requires an outgoing individual, and Brian certainly lives up to that demand. “The biggest challenge I face in my role is leaving appointments on time,” he explained. “I get sucked into conversations and could talk all day. I have been called a ‘chatty Cathy’ a time or two.”
Experienced in His Role
It may seem like all of this just comes naturally—and certainly the ability to connect with people is a wonderful gift!
“Ever since I was a child I have loved meeting new people and building new relationships. Having genuine connections with people recharges my battery so I naturally followed this passion and made it my profession.”
But Brian has worked hard to reach his current role, too. Since graduating from the University of Central Florida, his work history has covered many industries and unique experiences that each contribute to who he is today.
“I’ve been in business development and contracting for the past 20 years,” said Brian. “I have been fortunate in having what I consider a diverse career with plenty of new experiences. I started in B2B sales with corporate Best Buy which helped me establish a foundation and understanding of enterprise business.”
After moving abroad to the Middle East and continuing work in business development, he returned to the US and led B2B sales teams in Colorado for the past decade.
This breadth of experience has been integral to his ability to continue developing our business here at Elite Roofing & Solar, understanding both our objectives and how we can meet the needs of people throughout our service areas.
A Rewarding and Enriching Position
As a genuine “people person,” Brian Mielcarek finds himself very fulfilled by his everyday experience here at Elite Roofing & Solar. Asked about his favorite part of his job, he readily replied: “The people. My fellow Elite Roofing & Solar family have enriched my professional and personal life beyond belief. Engaging in new and building upon existing relationships with people every day brings me joy and the hours tend to fly by.”
Of course, it doesn’t hurt to work for a business that shares many of your personal values—for Brian, working for a company that puts faith, family, integrity, and honesty at the forefront gives him “extreme career satisfaction.”
At the end of the day, Brian is most proud of the connections he’s established throughout the community, helping customers reach high-quality roofing services when they need it most.
“The roofing industry can be intimidating for members of our community looking for a trusted roofing partner,” said Brian “By networking and building relationships with insurance agents and commercial teams, I have been able to expand our reach in protecting families, pets, and businesses with high quality roof replacements and repairs when needed while being honest when these services are not needed.”
While his hometown is Springfield, VA, Brian now lives here in Denver. When he’s off the clock, he finds time to watch his favorite sports teams. “I’m a home team fan so I love the Broncos, Avalanche, Nuggets and Rockies. I did grow up with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Baltimore Ravens so they will always have a special place in my heart.”
He also spends time volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, furthering his community focus.
