Elite Roofing & Solar strongly believes in giving back to the communities in which we serve. As local roofers, our team is staffed with folks who live in the very same communities we work in everyday. This gives us a personal stake in giving back to the local community and making sure we do our part to better the area around us however we can.
We are often sponsors for various non-profit events and spend time volunteering when possible. We strongly support and encourage our employees to volunteer and are always looking for new opportunities. If you have a need for construction volunteers, feel free to contact us! Each year, we sponsor and donate to a pair of major events led by Volunteers of America here in Denver: the Toy Drive and the Turkey Drive. Volunteers of America provides health, housing, and human services for veterans and their families throughout the US, with a major chapter right here in Denver.
Both the Toy Drive and Turkey Drive are major collection events that help make the holiday season a little brighter for families in need. The Toy Drive seeks to collect toys to be distributed to children at Christmastime, while the Turkey Drive collects donations of turkeys, hams, and various side dishes to make Thanksgiving dinner a reality for local families in Denver.
SafeHouse is a nationwide organization providing shelter and critical services to victims of domestic abuse. The organization has multiple chapters with shelters located throughout the country, and SafeHouse Denver provides services, care, and resources to adults, children, and youth experiencing domestic violence.
At Elite Roofing & Solar, we’ve supported SafeHouse Denver for more than a decade. Over the years, we’ve sponsored the Hope Gala—their annual fundraiser—at various levels throughout the years, including as the highest-tier Auction Sponsor in 2023. We were honored to be a part of Hope Gala’s major success this year, as the event raised nearly $300,000 in support of SafeHouse.
Elite Roofing & Solar supports various schools and educational programs throughout our service areas. Ute Meadows is a local elementary school in Littleton that aims to support children in becoming “creators, collaborators, problem finders/solvers, connectors, and explorers.” They support this mission through various initiatives, and our team has been glad to take part.
We have sponsored a host of PTA-led events and initiatives, including the Read-A-Thon, Movie Night, Fall Carnival, and the monthly PTA newsletter.
We are strong supporters of Roofers in Recovery and The Marshall Effect, a pair of local nonprofits providing help and resources for very crucial causes. Roofers in Recovery supports victims of drug or alcoholic substance abuse with limited resources for treatment. The Marshall Effect aims to support those who are at risk of self-harm or suicide, collaborating with schools and mental health providers and offering a sponsorship program to provide long-term access to needed care.
For each of these organizations, Elite Roofing & Solar donates $100 from each job we complete, and we have provided nearly $30,000 in combined funding to these programs.
Our team has taken part in various volunteer efforts and sponsored countless community programs and organizations over the years. Some of the other organizations and programs we’ve been involved with include:
