As a successful business owner and alumnus from the University of Northern Colorado, he was hand selected as a panelist for the “Success Looks Like ME” career event.
We are so proud of Randy Brothers for his great success with Elite Roofing and for now being recognized by his alma mater, University of Northern Colorado, for his success. Mr. Brothers has been invited to be part of a panel of successful UNC alumni to engage with current UNC students about their careers, and how the path he chose has lead to becoming a successful business owner. The “Success Looks Like ME” event encourages current students to ask questions, and network with the panelists. From UNC:
The Success Looks Like ME event series is designed to create opportunities for current UNC students to network with and learn from the experiences and challenges our alumni have faced in the professional world. These events allow students to see the value of a UNC degree by engaging directly with alumni from a multitude of backgrounds and professional specializations.
Organized in conjunction with UNC Career Services, SLLM events are scheduled throughout the academic year, focused on various career fields and are all on-campus for ease of access for our current students. Employers from industries related to each event’s professional focus also play a vital role in providing students with an opportunity to expand their professional networks and understand key employment qualifications in their field.
Official Panelist Biography for Randy Brothers:
Randy Brothers graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2006 with a BS in Business Administration and an emphasis in Business Marketing. While attending UNC and after graduation, Randy worked for Summit Construction, but found he needed additional projects to manage so he could keep up with his expenses. He started working in other areas as well; Randy became an insurance adjuster at State Farm, and a sales person at Interstate Roofing. After working in all three areas, Randy decided to put his experiences to work and founded Elite Roofing, now a division of Elite Custom Builders, in 2010. Randy and is partner were recently selected from a pool of 400 nominees as “Young Guns” by Roofing Contractor Magazine for the mark they are making on the roofing industry as young entrepreneurs in their 20s and 30s.
Elite Roofing Continues Its Success
There is no doubt that Elite Roofing would not be where we are at today without Randy’s entrepreneurial spirit, fearlessness and courage to persevere through the growing pains of a starting a new business. If you talk to you Randy, something you’ll note is how much he cares about people. Not only does he care about the people that work for him, that Elite performs work for but he sincerely cares about people in general. He is a kind hearted man and all of us at Elite Roofing believe that his will to always do right by people is what has helped us to become a successful roofing company with 80% of our business coming from the referrals of our satisfied customers.
